Establish the entity before adding markup
Choose one official business name and use it consistently. Publish a complete address, country-coded phone number, business email and service coverage. Link the website to maintained business profiles. Conflicting names or outdated addresses weaken trust for customers and machines.
Create service pages with genuine local value
A useful service page explains the problem, process, deliverables, relevant industries, evidence and next step. Avoid producing dozens of near-identical city pages. Location content should exist because the business can serve that location and has something specific to say.
- Identity
Legal name, logo, founder and contact details. - Services
Clear pages describing outcomes and scope. - Proof
Projects, reviews, credentials and real images. - Technical clarity
Canonical URLs, crawlable links and accurate metadata.
Use the most specific accurate schema type
Google recommends Organization information on the home or about page and the most specific relevant subtype. A business serving customers from a physical location may use an appropriate LocalBusiness subtype. Add only fields that are true, visible or verifiable.
Keep structured data synchronized
When a phone number, logo, address or company name changes, update the visible page, JSON-LD and major profiles together. Validate the code, inspect the rendered page and request recrawling after important corrections.
Do not confuse markup with a ranking guarantee
Structured data helps systems understand content and can support eligibility for certain search features. It does not guarantee a rich result or top position. Useful service information, reputation, links, page experience and relevance remain essential.
Should Organization schema appear on every page?
Google recommends placing it on the home page or a page describing the organization. Repeating large blocks everywhere is unnecessary.
Will FAQ schema produce FAQ rich results?
For ordinary commercial sites, FAQ rich-result visibility has been heavily restricted and Google announced further deprecation in 2026. Visible questions can still help users, but they should not be added solely to chase a search feature.
